BrassRing Systems Named Top Hiring Solution
San Mateo, Calif., October 3, 2000 - BrassRing Systems, the largest provider of web-based hiring management solutions for growing companies, announced today that it recently won the first "World Championship of Electronic Recruiting."
The competition was held at the Third Annual HR Technology Conference and Exposition in Long Beach, Ca. on September 27, 2000. The competing companies were judged by an audience of HR professionals on demonstrations that showed the features and benefits of their respective hiring management solutions. Each company demonstration was based on the same script.
Deb Besemer, President and CEO of BrassRing Inc., BrassRing Systems' parent company, presented the company's suite of hiring management solutions, which feature customizable fields, advanced searching capabilities and job posting to various Internet job sites. The 200 HR professionals and executives in attendance voted BrassRing Systems the product they liked best in the shootout.
"Potential customers are often hard-pressed to tell the difference between the many hiring management solutions out there," Besemer said. "This shootout helped bring some clarity to the issue by allowing each of us to show our wares. I'm delighted that our products earned this honor."
Bill Kutik, co-chairman of the event and architect of the shootout, said his motivation in bringing together companies to exhibit their products was the sheer number of hiring management systems in the marketplace.
"The market is so crowded and so hot with so many companies trying to purchase this type of product that we wanted to create a situation where corporate shoppers could for the first time compare apples to apples," Kutik said. "I think our goal was clearly reached and that BrassRing Systems did a fine job in making a case for their products among some of the leaders in this marketplace."
