BrassRing Systems Announces Enterprise 3.8
Talent Relationship Management Leader Adds New Features, Including Wireless Recruiting, to Flagship Product
WALTHAM, Mass. (February 27, 2001) - BrassRing Systems, the largest provider of Talent Relationship Management (TRM) solutions for Fortune 500 and Global 1000 companies, today announced the newest version of its flagship product, BrassRing Systems Enterprise 3.8, (formerly Hiresystems). The web-based TRM solution includes wireless recruiting technology and other new features designed to help growing companies find, engage and deploy better people faster.
As the first Application Service Provider (ASP) for enterprise Talent Relationship Management, BrassRing Systems pioneered the delivery of large-scale enterprise-wide systems - delivered solely through a browser - enabling and accelerating effective TRM for sophisticated, fast moving companies. In addition to offering wireless capabilities, BrassRing Systems has added several new features to BrassRing Systems Enterprise 3.8, including web sourcing and spidering technology, enhancements to Joboo, its corporate job hosting solution, and new candidate communications tools and interview scheduling capabilities.

Now with BrassRing Systems Enterprise new wireless recruiting technology, users with web-enabled Palm™ VII hand-held devices will have a direct connection to their BrassRing Systems application from a college campus, career fair, the airport, or anywhere their search for talent takes them. Additionally, recruiters can review, evaluate, and communicate with candidates and drive forms of TRM transactions without traditional Internet connections.

BrassRing Systems has also teamed up with three leading web sourcing and spidering technology companies - AIRS, TalentBlast and Easytrieve.com - enabling clients to find and source candidates anywhere on the Internet. The addition of the candidate-sourcing gateway to Enterprise 3.8 allows employers to launch one or more spidering providers within the Enterprise 3.8 application. This technology allows employers to source both passive and active candidates to fill open positions more effectively.

One of the best places for companies to cultivate new talent is through their own corporate job sites, and BrassRing Systems™ Joboo 1.5, the latest version of the corporate job hosting solution, helps companies simplify and accelerate their online recruiting efforts. With its latest customization, reporting, and client site-specific enhancements, Joboo provides customers with additional flexibility to make their job sites look and feel more like their corporate web sites. BrassRing Systems Joboo is available together with BrassRing Systems Enterprise 3.8 and is also sold separately.
BrassRing Systems Cut & Post 2.5
BrassRing Systems Cut & Post 2.5 resume submission application enables a job seeker to directly input their candidate data and resume into both BrassRing Systems Enterprise and Joboo. The Cut & Post functionality has been enhanced to recognize international resume (or curriculum vitae) formats, making it user-friendly for international recruiting. Candidate data can be instantly sent to a recruiter's system through their desktop, allowing users to search new candidate records immediately.

BrassRing Systems Scheduling Module
With BrassRing Systems Enterprise 3.8, employers will have access to scheduling and communications tools to help streamline all aspects of the hiring process. BrassRing Systems Enterprise scheduling module integrates with Microsoft Outlook, allowing 24/7 access to create, review and manage master interview schedules and eliminate the bottlenecks in the process. Recruiters can schedule and request interviews via e-mail, create interview schedules for e-mail distribution, monitor time-to-schedule and access interview details - all from one location. The streamlined approach frees users from administration, allowing them to spend more time developing relationships with candidates, and strengthen relationships among members of the hiring team.
BrassRing Systems Communications Module
Talent Relationship Management solutions help companies create and manage pools of talent by building long-term relationships with internal and external candidates. With BrassRing Systems Enterprise new communications capability, written communication with candidates, including acknowledgments, offer letters, and new opportunity announcements, can be created automatically through the Enterprise 3.8 system. This capability also enables recruiters to search their databases and send mass targeted e-mails to a pool of matching candidates when a new position opens up. Embedded applications and EEO forms in the e-mail provides candidates with self-service capabilities and eliminates administrative hassles of manually entering data intensive information.
Deploying Talent
eLink and Applicant Tracking
As seen in earlier versions of BrassRing Systems Enterprise, eLink, BrassRing Systems workflow management tool, links requisitions, candidate data and other essential information within the system and sends it directly to hiring managers or decision makers via e-mail. They can easily access the candidate data without having to be trained on the application. In addition, BrassRing Systems Enterprise tracking module automatically provides recruiters with at-a-glance candidate status, automatic candidate routing, contact reminders, unlimited personal folders, integrated e-mail, and workflow fully tailored to a company's unique requirements, making tracking candidates easy and efficient.
