Best of the Web Lists Most Promising Companies on Strategy, Execution, and Financial Stability
WALTHAM, Mass. (September 10, 2001) - BrassRing Inc., a leading provider of Talent Relationship Management (TRM) systems and corporate technology recruiting solutions and services, today announced that it has been named among Forbes Magazine’s Best of the Web B2B Companies in the Human Resources category. The company was one of only five HR companies to receive the designation.
The prestigious list names more than 150 of the most promising companies in 31 categories based on strict criteria related to strategy, execution, and financial staying power. Profiles of each company are included in the September 10, 2001 issue of Forbes. A complete list of the companies chosen as Best of The Web for this B2B edition can be found at www.forbesbest.com.
“BrassRing is honored to be included among this year’s Forbes Best of The Web selections,” said Deborah Besemer, President and CEO of BrassRing Inc. “BrassRing is committed to leveraging cutting-edge technology to help companies improve their recruiting practices, and it’s rewarding to have our track record in innovation and our commitment to high levels of customer service recognized by Forbes.”
While the stock market may fluctuate, Forbes Best of The Web (BOTW) says that Web-based business-to-business commerce shows no signs of dissipating. The publication also cites industry analysts IDC’s recent estimates that B2B e-commerce will hit $516 billion this year, up from $282 billion in 2000.
In addition to being named to Forbes Magazine’s Best-of-the-Web directory, BrassRing has also been named to Upside’s 2001 Hot 100 List of Privately Held Companies, IDC’s list of the Top 10 eRecruiting providers, and Information Week’s Top 100 ASPs. Last year, BrassRing was awarded HR Executive’s Top 10 New Products of 2000, and earned first place in the 2000 HR Technology Conference Electronic Recruiting Shootout.
