BrassRing Wins the 2002 HR Technology Conference's Electronic Recruiting Shootout

WALTHAM, Mass. - October 3, 2002 - BrassRing LLC, the leader in Talent Relationship Management (TRM) software and services, won the Third Annual HR Technology Conference's Electronic Recruiting Shootout in Chicago last week. Approximately 200 HR and IT professionals in the audience voted BrassRing the winner of the Shootout over Hire.com, Oracle and Workstream.

Senior executives from each company were required to walk conference attendees through a live demo based on a scripted scenario developed by Conference Co-chair Bill Kutik. The scenario required presenters to demonstrate how their company's solution handled a variety of recruiting challenges - from attracting candidates and building targeted candidate pools through a company's recruiting web site - from the perspectives of an HR executive or hiring manager and as a prospective candidate.

"Being voted the winner of the HR Technology Shootout is especially gratifying to us because we were selected by HR and IT professionals - our core audience," explained Deb Besemer, president and CEO of BrassRing LLC. "Forums like the HR Technology Conference are great places to compare TRM systems side by side, and we're pleased we were able to win again this year."

This year, "Human Resource Executive" magazine had the largest attendance ever at its 5th Annual HR Technology Conference & Expo, nearly 60% more than last year. In addition to a conference program called "the best in the industry", by HR.com, at least 29 of the show's HR technology exhibitors made new product announcements - also a record.
