Customer Acquisition, Strategic Partnerships and Powerful Convergence of Technology, Consulting and Outsourcing Drive BrassRing Success in 2005

-- Growing Demand for Workforce By Design Offerings Positions BrassRing for Continued Momentum in 2006

WALTHAM, MA - January 18, 2006 - Demonstrating the strong global momentum for BrassRing’s Workforce By Design™ solutions, the Company today announced that it closed 2005 with the addition of more industry-leading clients than in any prior year, including Nissan Motor Co. Ltd. of Japan; Duke University and Healthcare; Sepracor Inc.; Tyson Foods; EMC Corporation; Chiron; Cablevision Systems Corporation; Sentara Healthcare, Inc; LogicaCMG UK; SolidWorks; Respironics; also, one of the nation’s largest electric utilities; a leading global financial firm; a leading supplier of automatic test equipment used to test complex electronics; and others.

As a testimony to the quality of BrassRing’s client relationships, over 60 percent of its clients -- representing a range of industries including publishing, energy, financial services, communications, healthcare, manufacturing, non-profit, pharmaceutical, retail, service, transportation, and technology – expanded their relationship with the Company by acquiring additional software and services from BrassRing in 2005.

2005 brought enhancements to BrassRing’s award-winning talent management offering – Enterprise - including improved candidate and recruiter experiences, advanced functionality to support global clients, Cybertrust-certified application security, increased configuration capability and self-service tools for Enterprise Gateways, and enhanced reporting capabilities. These enhancements support BrassRing's Workforce by Design™ approach to building better companies by seamlessly integrating innovative technology, consulting and outsourcing with recruitment expertise to give clients the edge they need to successfully meet talent lifecycle challenges.

“BrassRing came to the table with more than a high-value technology solution – they had a foundation of industry expertise and the strategic insight to help us achieve a competitive advantage through talent management,” said Tracy Maynard, Human Resources Manager at RSA Security. “By partnering with BrassRing we’re now able to maximize both internal and external talent pools in a way that was impossible under our old manual system and are better equipped to attract, assess, and recruit top talent, making the solution that much more vital to our hiring processes.”

Recognizing that organizations must respond to ever-changing hiring demands, BrassRing launched its expanded Recruitment Services Outsourcing (RSO) offering in the first quarter of 2005, providing customers with recruitment solutions to meet both short-term and long-term recruitment services needs. Since announcing the offering, over ten percent of BrassRing’s clients have benefited from the personalized, scalable services built on a foundation of innovative technology and industry expertise. The offering leverages a proprietary recruitment framework and is available as either a supplemental staffing resource or a fully-outsourced and managed solution, providing uniquely-designed recruitment services that deliver quality candidates directly to organizations - prescreened, interviewed and ready for the selection process.

2005 also saw the expansion of BrassRing’s portfolio of Consulting offerings to include: Cultural Fit Assessment; Workforce Planning; Recruitment Process Analysis and Strategy; Candidate Attraction Strategies; Internal Mobility Planning; Agency and Vendor Management; Change Management Planning and Support; Implementation Project Management; Technology Optimization; and Technology Global Expansion. BrassRing’s consulting offerings combine industry expertise and strategic partnerships to design solutions that deliver results to many of the world’s top organizations.

Continuing its tradition of innovation and dedication to improving product performance, BrassRing selected Akamai’s Web Application Accelerator solution to optimize performance of Enterprise. By leveraging Akamai’s globally-deployed platform to deliver consistent, improved application performance, BrassRing’s global customer base is ensured availability and faster access to the information they need to manage the full talent lifecycle and build an effective workforce.

“With the significant milestones we achieved in 2005, we are enthusiastic about our opportunities for continued growth in 2006,” said Deb Besemer, president and CEO, BrassRing. “Bolstered by new clients, new products and service offerings, and continued expansion into global markets – including the addition of Nissan Motor Co., our first Asia Pacific-headquartered client -- it is clear that BrassRing’s Workforce By Design™ approach is having a significant impact on the industry. We look forward to demonstrating our continued market leadership in 2006 as we continue to deliver on our commitment to empower organizations to attract and retain quality talent.”

BrassRing’s technology leadership and innovation was recognized by the industry in 2005 when its Voice Gateway solution was named one of HR Executive Magazine’s Top 10 HR Products of the Year for 2005. Enterprise was also named the Best Human Resource Product in the Software & Information Industry Association (SIIA) 2005 Codie Awards for the second consecutive year.
