Deborah Besemer
President and CEO, BrassRing LLC

Deb Besemer is President and CEO of BrassRing, a leading provider of talent management solutions. Prior to being named President and CEO of BrassRing, Ms. Besemer was President and CEO of BrassRing Systems, the recruitment software unit of BrassRing. Under her leadership, BrassRing has grown into one of the most comprehensive software/services solution providers in the human capital management market. Under Ms. Besemer’s guidance, BrassRing has assumed and retained a position of leadership among talent management Application Service Providers (ASPs). Prior to joining BrassRing Systems, Ms. Besemer spent more than a decade at Lotus, where she managed a business unit with revenues in excess of $1.3 billion and more than 4,000 employees in 46 countries. She is a former Chairwoman of the Massachusetts Software Council and currently serves as a Trustee and the Chairperson of the Nominating Committee. She is an active member of the University of Massachusetts High Tech Executive Council. Ms Besemer is an active member of the New England Advisory Council for the Federal Reserve Bank of Boston. In addition, she is a former Director of Kubisoft, Inc., Eprise Corporation and the Massachusetts Software Council Fellowship Program, an initiative to retrain people for jobs in software and the Internet. Ms. Besemer holds an M.B.A. from Rutgers University and a B.A. from Cedar Crest College.

Gary Cormier
Executive Vice President, Talent Services

Gary Cormier is Executive Vice President of Talent Services for BrassRing. In this role he is responsible for leading both Talent Consulting -- a consulting services business dedicated to providing best practice solutions to clients on key challenges they face in talent management - and Recruitment Services Outsourcing (RSO) that delivers high-quality recruitment solutions to clients with both long-term and project-based recruitment needs. Gary joined BrassRing in 1999 after a 15-year career at Lotus Development Corporation, most recently as Director of HR for the North America region. He also served as Director of Worldwide Field Operations, a position which included Global HR work throughout Europe, Asia, Japan and Latin America. He holds a double BA Degree in Biology and English Literature from Assumption College, and an MA in Pastoral Counseling/Theology from Weston School of Theology in Cambridge. Gary was active for two years on the Customer Advisory Council for Employease, an HRIS vendor, and currently sits on the Advisory Board for Longfellow Benefits, a local benefits brokerage firm.

Dick Goldman
CFO, Treasurer, EVP of Operations

As Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and Treasurer of BrassRing, Dick Goldman manages the company’s finances across its various lines of businesses. As Executive Vice President of Operations, Mr. Goldman is responsible for overseeing the company's internal operations, focusing on maintaining the productivity of the BrassRing's businesses to deliver operational excellence and customer satisfaction. Mr. Goldman brings to BrassRing more than 25 years of senior management experience in finance and operations. Prior to joining BrassRing, Mr. Goldman served as CFO of TechOnLine, Inc., an online source of technical information and educational courses for electrical engineers. Prior to that, he was CFO at a number of high-tech companies including Pegasystems, PictureTel, Giga Information Group, and Prime Computer. Mr. Goldman holds an MBA from Boston University and a bachelor's degree in accounting from Northeastern University.

Arlene Hammel
Vice President, Marketing

With over 20 years of marketing, sales and management experience, Arlene is responsible for supporting BrassRing's sales initiatives through the development of company-wide marketing programs, and directs all advertising, public relations, marketing communications, market research, brand image and presence, product positioning, and event planning. Prior to joining BrassRing, she was vice president of marketing for Genesys where she developed and executed strategic and tactical marketing communications plans that significantly increased brand awareness, and drove customer demand for a full range of human capital management outsourced and software solutions. Before joining Genesys, Hammel served as vice president of marketing for Eliassen Group, Inc., introducing comprehensive marketing communications programs that increased both client acquisition and retention. She also served as the senior vice president of marketing at Randstad North America (formerly Office Specialists), a $1.4 billion employment services company. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration from Michigan State University.

Ted Ruscitti
Vice President, Technical Services

Ted Ruscitti is responsible for managing client support and software delivery services for BrassRing. He has over 15 years of client service experience, with five of those years spent in management roles within BrassRing's Engineering and Client Service Departments, including managing the company's Help Desk and Technical Consulting functions. Among his career accomplishments, Mr. Ruscitti founded and managed BrassRing's software implementation team, developed the implementation standards for BrassRing's Enterprise talent management platform, and managed over 200 software implementations with BrassRing clients. Mr. Ruscitti holds a BA in Political Science from Boston College.

Steve Turner
Executive Vice President, Engineering

Steve Turner is BrassRing’s Executive Vice President of Engineering, and is responsible for maintaining BrassRing’s leading position in technological innovation. Mr. Turner Brings to BrassRing more than 20 years of experience leading large global development projects. Prior to joining BrassRing, Mr. Turner was the VP Engineering at Curl Corporation, where he was responsible for Product Management, Program Management, Software Development, Quality Engineering and Documentation. He also gained valuable HR experience as VP of Engineering at Authoria, Inc. where he managed the development team of 55 people building Authoria's multiple web-based HR knowledgebase applications. Prior to that, Mr. Turner held the VP Technology and the VP Advanced Web Development positions at Reed Elsevier Technology Group, where he helped lead the migration of Reed Elsevier's print-based business publishing products to web-based publishing. As the VP of Product Development for Primavera Systems, he managed a team of over 100 technology professionals in Project Management, Software Development, Documentation, Quality Assurance, UI Design and Usability Testing. Other companies where Steve has held technology positions include Lotus Development Corporation, Digital Equipment Corporation. Mr. Turner holds a B.S. degree in applied chemistry from Nottingham, England, and a high tech master's degree in business administration from Northeastern University in Boston.

Jan Wahby
Executive Vice President of Worldwide Sales

Jan Wahby is responsible for leading BrassRing's global sales efforts and overseeing the company's expansion into new vertical markets with both talent management software and recruitment services offerings. Ms. Wahby brings to BrassRing more than 20 years of worldwide sales and marketing experience in the staffing and recruiting arena. Prior to joining BrassRing she was Senior Vice President of National Sales for Spherion Corporation, where she successfully grew the company's largest accounts. During her tenure at Spherion, Ms. Wahby held several key positions including Vice President of Global Marketing and Communications, and Senior Vice President and Managing Director of European Operations. Prior to joining Spherion in 1994, she held leadership positions at Norrell and Bally. Ms. Wahby holds a B.S. degree in Finance from DePaul University.

Mary Wilson
Senior Vice President & General Counsel

Mary Wilson is responsible for managing the legal affairs of BrassRing. She has more than 20 years experience as an attorney, with 17 of those years as an in-house counsel with technology companies. Prior to joining BrassRing, Ms. Wilson was Senior Vice President and General Counsel of Modus Media International Inc., a multinational technology outsourcing company. Before that, she was General Counsel of PictureTel Corporation, now a part of Polycom, Inc. She also served as in-house counsel at Prime Computer and Computervision Corporation. Ms. Wilson holds a law degree from the University of Virginia Law School, and a BA from Michigan State University. She is a member of the Massachusetts Bar.
