To Avoid “The Amazing Shrinking Global Talent Pool” – Build Your Own
As 25 percent of the US working population becomes eligible for retirement
by 2010, a projected worker shortage of nearly 10 million is expected to
occur. As the overall global talent pool shrinks, organizations that master
the art -- and science -- of building and maintaining their own talent pools
will be the de facto leaders in the race for talent. In this session, we
will examine how to fine tune your recruitment operation in the development
of talent pools. We will look at the critical role of planning and strategy
development, the key difference between a talent pool and a talent pipeline,
and leading practices for strategy execution that will connect you with
the right talent for your organization.
